Introduction

As a IT Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous availability and stability of our cloud services. This position is instrumental in mitigating potential crises, addressing and preventing service outages, and optimizing the performance of our cloud infrastructure.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Linux servers, and Windows Server systems.
• Proficiency in managing and deploying Windows installations over a remote network using Microsoft WDS, MDT and ADK.
• Proficiency in creating computers, user accounts, printers and policy using Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Experience in ordering and assigning IP addresses from a cloud provider to VMWare ESXI virtual machines.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for cloud services (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve complex cloud-related issues.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond promptly to critical situations, and adapt to evolving cloud technologies.
• Certifications in cloud services such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect would be advantageous.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Implement monitoring tools and systems to oversee the health and performance of our cloud services.
• Proactively identify vulnerabilities, bottlenecks, and potential points of failure within the cloud infrastructure.
• Rapidly respond to and resolve cloud service interruptions, technical issues, and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure swift recovery from potential cloud service disruptions.
• Work towards optimizing cloud resources, configurations, and operations to enhance performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, IT, and engineering to address and prevent cloud-related incidents.
